Different Types of Articles of Incorporation

At the time of incorporation, we offer three different types of Articles of Incorporation formats when you choose to have us complete the corporate documents on your behalf. The following will briefly explain the different types for your further consideration:

1. Standard (General Purpose Powers) Articles includes a general statement giving the power to conduct any lawful business activity as per the Liberian Business Corporation Act.

2. The 4 Ship (Shipping) Articles is an extended version of the Standard Articles, which in addition to the general statement that the corporation has the power to conduct any lawful business activity, also includes four paragraphs naming various maritime-related business activities that are specifically permitted.

3. 28 Power Articles also include the general statement that the corporation has the power to conduct any lawful business activity as well as 28 paragraphs of various business activities, including holding activities, investment activities, merchandising activities, shipping activities, etc…

Regardless of the articles chosen, all versions confirm the ability of the corporation to conduct any legal business activity. Samples of all three above mentioned Articles can be viewed on our website (Link). Finally, it is also possible to complete and submit your own Articles of Incorporation, subject  to approval by the Registrar. Please contact corporate@liscr.com for details.
