FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) is a US law that targets US Taxpayers with foreign financial accounts.
A Liberian Corporation may need to report if “US Taxpayers hold a substantial ownership interest”.
There is no IGA or similar in place between Liberia and the United States regarding FATCA. There is no requirement for such a an agreement.
