Corporations that re-domicile into Liberia gain all of the same rights as that of a corporation that has been formed in Liberia. One of these rights is the ability of a Liberian corporation to authorize the issuance of bearer shares.
Corporations re-domiciling into Liberia adopt and file Articles of Incorporation as part of the process. The Articles of Incorporation will state the authorized capital of the corporation and the type(s) of shares that the corporation may issue. So while a corporation may not be able to issue bearer shares in its current jurisdiction, it may do so if their newly adopted articles state so. Corporations are permitted to authorize the issuance of bearer shares, registered shares and both.
